Feedback #22 - Updates are Back!

My humble apologies for the delay in official updates over the winter. As, hopefully, most of you have read in the regular comments it was due to repeated surgeries on the nerves i my face. I am now, mostly, fine off heavy painkillers and missing a tooth (which is very weird btw).

I also hope a bunch of you have been following along via the handily named 'Follow Along' button, which links to Kev's Facebook artists page. Kev has not been down for the winter with face pain so timeline wise that all worked out rather luckily for everyone, as my job for the winter was mostly to go 'Look, this is what Kev's done'.

I'm back just in time to start production, which we have :)

One last annoying hurdle is the broadband is down, and an engineer isn't out until Friday. I'm using my phone hence the imageless update sorry. 

This means this weekend will be image filled mega updates! It also means I want some feedback from you guys if you want to see any side-by-sides or group shots etc of any finished minis in particular. I can also update you on the entire run below, this may take a while :D ...

Timeline Update & First Metal Moulds Away!

Hey Everyone

Firstly, yes I'm still ill. I'm back to work though and despite wanting to rip my jaw off most days I am able to make sure the most important jobs keep getting done :)

The current timeline is that Kev has finished 20 of his 40 miniatures (18 with 2 practically finished is more correct). Masters have gone off to Tre for him to start the first of his Frost editions and both Tre and Fancagne continue work on their Companions.

The production timeline has reached the first metal moulds... 

... those are resin 'blacks', a tough metal filled resin master. We use those to guarantee the highest metal production quality, essentially our production metals will be metal masters.

The first 5 sent off are the Pin Up versions of Aneira, Bambi, Ksenia and Shadya Diavol plus the Skyclad version of Helen.

Another 5 will go off this week and another 5 next week and the week after :) We therefore hope for metal production to be 50% complete by March.

The pledge manager is now back on track, we're working with backerkit to get that done as my illness means the website version will take too long (as it already has).

We also keep getting questions about adding HF minis, you 'will' be able to do that but only when your order is due for fulfillment. We will let everyone know individually.

We will also be accepting late pledges via Paypal/backerkit and you will be able to upgrade your pledges etc. However the Baker's Dozen will remain KS exclusive as we said.

As soon as I am able we 'will' get better photos of the resin masters of all the finished minis, including some group shots.

My next surgery appt is the 23rd, so everyone cross your fingers :)

Christmas Update Delay

Hi Everyone, this is Jennifer,  Dameons wife (That's Arty).

He asked me to log in and let you know there may be a deal on the Christmas update. We spent all Christmas evening in A&E (ER) as Dameon's jaw pain came back today very badly. He is currently at home and on morphine. I am looking after him well (he just made me add that bit) and we'll know more tomorrow when more surgeries are open. Merry Christmas everybody :)

There will be a Christmas update at some point, maybe today, maybe tomorrow, all depends on just how much I eat ;)

Feedback #22 - Two more WIPs

Two more WIPs today, I am now in possession of the first Resin Master's of a number of minis so we'll get some group shots done this week finally. They look even better all in one lovely shade of grey :D

 We've had a couple of comments on the grimace, please remember the original one is in colour, This will be off to our studio painter this week so with some coloured lips she may look a little different, we shall see! :D

 Our naked artist slash mage, also off to the painter this week. We might even send off two and have him painted up as both styles with each variant?
